From Recorder Consort 4. Naudot was a French composer, flutist, and typesetter. This I believe is from one of his flute concertos, although I can't be sure. From Recorder Consort 4; duet for 2 alto recordcers

An arrangement for SST recorders of Thomas Morley's famous canzonet from Recorder Consort 4 ( Steve Rosenberg, Boosey & Hawkes, 1995). My first attempt at editing out a page turn in Audacity. Not wholly successful. You can hear the top Soprano seem to come in a little early 'cause I didn't leave quite enough silence in. Hmm.

This dance is usually attributed to Henry Purcell. This version is close to what we'll play end of March.

From _Music of the Renaissance for 3 Recorders_, Edward B. Marks 1967. This source claims it is originally "from Pierre Atteignant's 'Quatorze Galliards', 1530". I think they mean Pierre Attaignant, who from his wikipedia article was a French music publisher with some technical advancements to his credit.
