A ritornello taken from "From Hardy Climes", an ode to the marriage of Prince George and Princess Anne (1683). From the excellent _A_Purcell_Collection_for_Recorder_Consort_ ( Arnold Freed, Boosey & Hawkes, 1986). SSTB recorders. There's a second ritornello here which I'll record later.

A pastorale by Francesca Caccini ( 1625), from an Erich Katz book called "Music of the Baroque for Three Recorders, purchased from a place on Martha's Vinyard this summer. Played SST. This is not terribly headset-friendly, but is guaranteed to cut through most noise when played through speakers.
